These day's Lo-Fi has been preparing for the Apple Store gig in Sappporo.
That's the northern Island of Japan.
The weather is cooler there compared to Tokyo,
which is great and it's a lot more spacious and I love it.
Well I guess it's harder to find somewhere more jam packed than Tokyo.
We're doing the gig on the 26th of July from the evening and after that gig we're going to hit the clubs and do a gig there.
Has anyone reading this been to the Apple Store there?
This is the club we'll be playing at
We're looking forward to talking about how Lo-Fi uses Apple gear to make music.
No duh? and yeah maybe not sooo interesting for some, but we keep our
schedules an files (like portfolios and new sound files) shared on mobile me.
It helps a lot that we can do the multi-video chat and also that we all have the iphone.
Yeah I'm sure there are tons of other services out there than can do the same (probably for free) but I was too busy making music and performing to search and setup and link everything for everyone. So mobile me was a great package with the
apple software that comes with the mac.
Anyway os 3.0 for the iPhone has been working great.
The Japanese typing feels faster in some apps and then slower in some.
Strange! oh well what can you expect from a x.0 version of software.
I hope they come up with updates soon. also for the 3rd party stuff.
Lo-Fi has been working on a lot of art events and we have our own event called TSUNAGU.
Here are some of the vids on youtube:
