フィルジョーンズ・スピーカー 6T, 9B, Phil Jones Speaker cabs

最近使っているスピーカーキャビネット。フィルジョーンズというオーディオの会社の合計15発の5インチスピーカー。見た目も特徴的。

This is a photo of the Phil Jones speakers I've been using recently. A total of 15 speakers that are 5 inch in size. I like the look too.



特にベースとかを演奏する人じゃないとあまり興味がないかもしれないけど、自分がメインで演奏している楽器のベースは非常に楽器として使う周波数帯が広くて、スピーカーは重要。

Unless your a bass player you might not really be interested but the bass is an instrument with a really really wide range. You wanna utilize the ultra-lows of 30hz up to the 30khz area to express all kinds of sounds that the bass can make. Its demanding on speakers and amps.




簡単な感想としては、非常にこのスピーカーには満足している。

持ち運びは大変だけど、
会場のお客様も含め音響の方も全員この音が印象的だったみたいで、こんなスピーカーを使うのは始めてだ。

音楽的表現力を広げてくれる楽器は本当に最高だ。

My super simple review of the speakers is that they are excellent at expressing sounds over a very wide range of frequencies. Sometimes the treble needs a little boosting but the speakers can handle it when it's given the highs from the amp.

Any kind of instrument that can expand your space for expression is awesome.

いまサウンドチェックが終わってバンドと打ち合わせ中！


このキャビは小さいのに本当に凄い音圧と音の解像度があって最高だと思う。合計15発の小型5インチスピーカーはやっぱり音を大きくしてもスピード感も全然小さい音量の時と変わらずでやりやすいね。

なんといっても凄いギターの音が大きい中でもハッキリと聞こえるのが凄い。

ステージでもどこにいってもちゃんと聞こえるし、バンドメンバーからうるさいという不満もない！

Today I just finished sound check with my new rig setup with Phil Jones Bass cabinets.

The 6T and 9B. They are incredibly punchy and maintain their sonic balance no matter how hard you pump the speakers.

Today I'm playin with a really loud band so I'm really glad I've for this rig for tonight's show.

It's not a huge venue, but the stage is pretty big and I can hear myself all over the stage. BTW my band has no problem with the sound of the amp.

The only complaint I could imagine about these cabs is that they're pretty heavy!
