浜松に到着。Arrival at Hamamatsu!

次の休憩は浜松で！今回は久しぶりに東名を走ったけど、今回のルートで新東名を選んでみた。

かなり走りやすくて、なんか道沿いに照明が照らしてくれててなんだか、安全な道の感じがした。

Parked in Hamamatsu for a break from the cold winds and helmet noise! Chose the "new" Tomei for the first time! Smooth straight roads, great for covering ground.


このサービスエリアに入ったけど、ローランドの商品展示スペースが。



うむ。なんか淋しいね。Music Spotと書いてありながら、中はあまりにも「シーン」としてる。せめて楽器のでも演奏ができればいいのに。

Discovered an awkward looking showroom for the musical instrument brand ROLAND.

I can kind of grasp how they want to spread their market but putting their products out so they get exposed... but calling your showroom "music spot" and having it completely silent with random instruments with a sign saying "don't touch" is SOOO unmusical.




なんでこんな古い機材を展示しているのかはちゃんと読まなかったから不明。

でも、V Bass / V Guitarのような面白い機材もおいて欲しかった！なんか地味すぎるセレクションにがっかり。

Beats me why they have so many old effects on display. I wish they shot for something more cutting edge or interesting like the V Bass gear.





しかし、豪華過ぎるエレドラ。Electric drumsetね。
音があまり出せ無い日本ではドラマー達は重宝するはず。しかし、スペースも足りない街の多い日本でこんな豪華なエレドラは置けるのか。

Now take a look at this. a HUGE electric drumset. In Japan this is the closest one will get to jamming with friends at home. I can understand the market for this but... ain't it too big for compact metropolitan cities in Japan?



浜松は音楽のまち。
楽器はヤマハもこのエリアに本社が。

ミュージシャンとしては、やっぱり音楽のまちを思い浮かべるなら、どこからでも音楽が流れて、みんなが唄を歌っているのイメージする。どの店も自分達のテーマソングを友達や仲間に作曲してもらったり、自分で作ったり。後は自分の様々な場面に合わせて主題歌もあって、それを人それぞれが流したり歌いなが、ミュージカル見たいに登場する。

こんな世の中になったら、音に関する認知科学的影響力とコミュニケーションについてもっと研究されて意識的に音を聞くようになって色々な人の感覚が覚醒されるんだろうな。

Hamamatsu is supposed to be the city of music. Yes I think Yamaha also has their HQ here. I'd imagine a city of music, a city where everyone is singing and has their own theme song. Where ever they go their music and sounds are used as a type of communication tool for how they feel or who they are. would be a very noisy city if people can't control the proximity of their sound projection... maybe in this city the effects of sound on the human mind will be researched and understood by more people making people more keen the how sound effects us...
